As a proud graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Sport Administration and Mining Business, my journey in the world of sports has been nothing short of extraordinary. For over 20 years, I dedicated myself to playing women’s tackle football with the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA), where I not only honed my skills on the field but also developed a deep passion for the game and its ability to unite communities.
My experience as a player naturally transitioned into coaching, where I spent seven rewarding years mentoring young athletes at my local Intermediate School and within the community. This role allowed me to share my love for football while instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance in the next generation. Today, I am thrilled to take on the role of the newest flag football coach at Cedar Crest College, where I aim to inspire and empower young women to embrace the sport and its many benefits.
Throughout my football adventures, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel to Costa Rica, Honduras, Brazil, and Mexico. These journeys were not just about the thrill of the game; they were also about giving back. During my time abroad, I hosted numerous community service initiatives, working alongside local organizations to make a positive impact. Whether it was organizing sports clinics for underprivileged youth or participating in environmental clean-up efforts, these experiences enriched my understanding of the global community, and the role sports can play in fostering connections.
As I continue my journey in sports, I remain committed to using my platform to uplift others, promote inclusivity, and inspire future leaders in athletics. The lessons I’ve learned on and off the field have shaped who I am today, and I look forward to what lies ahead in this ever-evolving world of sports.
