The Student Success Specialist provides oversight and coordination of Cedar Crest’s peer tutoring, writing, and instructional assistant programs, including managing the student staff. The specialist is a point of contact for Cedar Crest’s online tutoring provider, ThinkingStorm, and manages services related to this third-party provider. This position consults on reports submitted in our academic early alert system, Finish Line, and conducts outreach initiatives where needed. The specialist consults with the Director of Academic Services regarding the development and implementation of student success programs such as academic coaching, academic recovery, summer bridge programs, and learning support workshops.
