We see you thriving in Cedar Crest’s collaborative program with Salus University, where you can complete an undergraduate major and a Physician Assistant Master of Medical Science degree and enter an exciting and important health profession.

Under this agreement, students who successfully complete a Bachelor of Science degree and the minimum 120 semester credit pre-physician assistant curriculum at Cedar Crest College with a 3.5 GPA or above may be eligible for admission to the Salus Physician Assistant (PA) program.

The educational pathway is referred to as the 4 + 2 Degree Program and includes two phases: Phase I is comprised of the pre-physician assistant curriculum at Cedar Crest; Phase II is comprised of the Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Salus.

Cedar Crest College will admit students who meet the requirements for Phase I of the program and will submit to the Salus Office of Admissions the name and contact information for each student who begins Phase I. Salus will communicate with each student who advances through Phase I. Relevant information about the program will be provided, and a visit to the Salus Office of Admissions for a pre-application appointment will be encouraged.

For admission into the program, a student must successfully complete Phase I and then apply to the PA Program by following the application procedures described on the Salus website. The admissions procedures include the completion of a successful on-campus interview.

How To Apply

Applying is free and straightforward—because we believe nothing should stand in the way of your dreams!
