This program can be completed fully online, which means that you can complete your coursework around your busy schedule. You’ll learn from applied projects and have the opportunity to build your own product. You’ll also take a course on career advancement in tech so that when you graduate, you’ll be more than equipped to land your first job or advance in your current role in this exciting industry. By taking on an optional concentration in Applied AI, you’ll gain the hands-on experience to drive change in today’s tech industry.

Additionally, with Cedar Crest’s Harmon Center for technology you’ll be invited to participate in programming—either on-campus or virtually—that positions you to be a woman in, or a supporter of women, working in a historically male-dominated field.

Design the Future of Artificial Intelligence

AI promises to revolutionize how we live, work, and solve complex problems. By pursuing a concentration in Applied AI, you’ll gain the extensive, practical knowledge and hands-on experience you need to pursue a role in AI. By the end of the program, you’ll be able to implement AI systems, fine-tune models, engineer effective prompts, design experiments, and create informative visualizations to communicate the value of your work.

Our Elaine and John Harmon Center for Leadership in Technology will feature collaborative student spaces, computer labs, and programming to provide our students with the resources they need to succeed as a woman in or as a supporter of women in the tech industry.  

You’ll utilize our online learning system (Canvas) for not just your online Major courses, but all your classes at Cedar Crest. This program is built to ensure that its online classes are not merely attempting to recreate the in-person experience, but truly leverage the strengths of online learning.
