(October 16, 2019)— Cedar Crest College’s School of Nursing is proud to announce that its National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) first-time pass rate has jumped to 100 percent for the test period from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019. The pass rates are reported by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
Cedar Crest’s pass rate is well above the 2018-2019 national rate, which stands at 88.07 percent, as well as the Pennsylvania pass rate, which is 91.61 percent. Its 2018-2019 pass rate is also up from last year’s rate of 98 percent.
"Cedar Crest's School of Nursing takes a holistic approach to education. We combine strong academics with real-world experiences. Our approach transforms students into nurse leaders and that is also clear in our outstanding NCLEX results," said Dr. Wendy Robb, Dean of the School of Nursing.
