Stephanie A. Walker appointed as Vice President for Enrollment Management & Elizabeth A. Wilson appointed as Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer.
Cedar Crest College recently welcomed two new members of its senior leadership team —Stephanie A. Walker, MLS, vice president for enrollment management and Elizabeth A. Wilson, CPA, chief financial officer/treasurer.
Stephanie Walker
Walker was previously the assistant dean for enrollment management for the School of Professional Studies at Albright College. There, she oversaw significant growth in the yield rate for both adult undergraduate and graduate programs, resulting in a 43% growth in new student enrollment over the course of a year. Previously, she served as vice president for enrollment management at Manor College and director of admissions for Bryn Athyn College.
“Steph has a true heart for our mission and a deep understanding of the transformative impact an education at an institution like Cedar Crest can have on a student and their family,” says Elizabeth Meade, PhD, Cedar Crest College President. “She will be an excellent ambassador for a Cedar Crest education.”
Walker’s experience with traditional undergraduate enrollment at small liberal arts colleges, in combination with her experience with adult undergraduate and graduate admissions, is well-suited to Cedar Crest’s enrollment operations and needs.
Elizabeth Wilson
Wilson comes to Cedar Crest College from Valley National Financial Advisors, where she most recently served as the chief financial officer. She previously served as the vice president, finance and tax services and as corporate controller at Valley National Financial Advisors, as well as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche.
“Elizabeth’s deep expertise in financial management, budgeting, and strategic decision making will serve Cedar Crest well as we chart our future through our next strategic plan,” says Meade.
Wilson is a native of the Lehigh Valley, having earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration with a concentration in managerial finance from Muhlenberg College. She is currently completing her MBA from Moravian University, with a concentration in organizational leadership.
As a member of the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run, Wilson shares Cedar Crest’s passion for empowering young women and girls everywhere.
