As a school that takes a liberal arts approach to academics, Cedar Crest College encourages students like you to take part in all academic areas that interest you.
Because psychology examines how and why people act, think and feel the way they do, the psychology minor is particularly useful when combined with other disciplines that are centered around human (and animal) interactions, such as:
As a psychology minor, you will focus on theories behind human and non-human behavior. In addition to the core classes required of all students completing the Psychology minor, our program includes unique elective course options to deepen your understanding of the field of psychology. (See Course Descriptions for our class list.)
To apply transfer credits toward the completion of minor requirements, students must have earned a grade of “C” or better in each course to be transferred. Courses completed more than ten years ago will not be accepted for purposes of completing the requirements of the minor.
Required Courses: 21 credits
NOTE: Physical copies of the most up-to-date advising sheets for each of our degree offerings (major and minors) are available in the hanging baskets in the Psychology Department hallway. For a digital copy of an advising sheet, please contact your academic advisor.
