Cedar Crest Welcomes New Nurse Anesthesia Program Director  Image

Bimpe (Bebe) Z. Adenusi, PhD, CRNA, will take the role in School of Nursing on April 28.    

Cedar Crest College is pleased to announce the appointment of Bimpe (Bebe) Z. Adenusi, PhD, CRNA, as nurse anesthesia program director, effective April 28, 2021. 

Adenusi most recently served as a certified registered nurse anesthetist for Society Hill Anesthesia Consultants, Premier Anesthesia and NorthStar Anesthesia servicing several hospitals in the Philadelphia region. She has served as adjunct faculty at Our Lady of Lourdes Nurse Anesthesia Program in Camden, NJ. 

“I am thrilled to welcome Dr. Adenusi to Cedar Crest’s School of Nursing. Her unique skill set as an expert clinician and perspective as a strong female leader will contribute to the continued success and future growth of the program,” says Wendy Robb, PhD, dean of Cedar Crest’s School of Nursing. 

Passionate about education and research, Adenusi belongs to numerous professional associations including the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She is the founder of the Nigerian American Nurse Anesthetists Association (USA) and treasurer of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas. 

Adenusi earned her PhD from New Mexico State University. She was valedictorian of her anesthesia class at Our Lady of Lourdes Nurse Anesthesia Program (Drexel University) where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University.
