Cedar Crest College’s School of Nursing has once again been recognized as having one of Pennsylvania’s top registered nursing programs. The College was recently ranked third on the list of the best RN programs in the state by RNCareers.org.
To compile the list, RNCareers.org assessed several factors that represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond. One factor was the NCLEX-RN exam pass rates for the past three years. Those scores were then added together and weighted with program accreditation to determine the rankings. Cedar Crest’s most recent NCLEX pass rate stands at 96 percent.
“Cedar Crest’s School of Nursing takes a holistic approach to education. We combine strong academics with real-world experiences and support our students with skilled, caring faculty, professional nursing tutors and specialized simulation experts. Our approach transforms students into nurse leaders and that is also clear in our outstanding NCLEX results,” says School of Nursing Dean Wendy Robb, Ph.D.
Cedar Crest College’s School of Nursing prides itself on preparing students to make a difference for their patients, community and world.
