Cedar Crest College is pleased to share the appointment of Lynn Staples as Vice President for Institutional Advancement, effective August 15, 2023.
Staples has diligently served the Cedar Crest community for more than ten collective years and, most recently, held the title of Interim Vice President since June 1 after previously being Executive Director of Development. Her commitment and tenacity have proven she is integral to the college’s success.
During her time at Cedar Crest, Staples’ hard work has left an undeniable impact. She helped the college exceed their annual funding goal of $1.1 million for the first time since 2006–a staggering number for an astonishing accomplishment. She sought growth through innovation, crafting new fundraising initiatives and events, and increasing the amount raised through Giving Tuesday. She is also championing the College’s Comprehensive Campaign titled, “Educate. Elevate. Empower. The Campaign to Inspire Lives at Cedar Crest College.” There is no one better suited to lead the college to success than Staples.
“I am honored to join the leadership team under President Meade,” says Staples. “I am tremendously proud to raise money for our mission and to lead the Institutional Advancement team during this pivotal time in our history. The success of our ambitious new strategic plan and capital campaign will be transformational for our entire campus community. The Cedar Crest campus is filled with intelligent, hard-working professionals who truly care about each other and our students, and I look forward to all that we can accomplish together.”
