Below, locate your major and your academic advisor. Prepare for your First Academic Advising Meeting

As you prepare for your first academic meeting, think about your values, your responsibilities outside of the classroom, and your overarching goals. Keeping these elements at the forefront of your discussion with your academic advisor will help you shape your first semester.
Please bring the following items with you to your first academic advising meeting:

  • My Cedar Crest login ID and password (found on your acceptance letter from SAGE Admissions)
  • Notebook (for your academic advising meeting notes)
  • Calendar (for planning purposes)

Academic Advising Meeting Agenda

At your first academic advising meeting, your advisor will review your Statement of Advanced Standing and answer any questions you may have about how your transfer credits may apply toward your major and the Liberal Arts Curriculum.

Next, using My Cedar Crest, you and your academic advisor will look at course offerings for the upcoming semester, build a schedule that works for you, and register for classes.

You’re registered. What’s next?
