Applying for Graduation
All students, regardless of program or degree level are required to apply for graduation before the established deadlines. Applications for graduation that are submitted after the deadline will be subject to approval and may not be approved.

Students are able to submit this application online via the Graduation portal on My CedarCrest. It is highly recommended that students seek advisor approval before submitting this application.
Undergraduate Students Degree Requirements
- Submission of a graduation application via MyCC
- Completion of the Liberal Arts Curriculum (LAC)
- Completion of a major area of study
- Minimum of 120 undergraduate credit hours
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 *select programs may have a higher requirement.
Graduate Students & Students Seeking Certification Degree Requirements
- Submission of a graduation application via MyCC
- Certification of Completion of a Program of Study *Handled by the Registrar’s Office
Participating in Commencement
Cedar Crest College only holds one commencement ceremony each year in May. Students graduating between the Fall prior and the Fall after are eligible to participate. Students are only eligible to participate in one ceremony per degree.
Graduating with Honors
Students earning a bachelor’s degree from Cedar Crest College are awarded an honors designation on their diploma and official transcripts if they have completed at least 60 graded credits at the college and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.550.

For the commencement ceremony, academic honors are determined based on grades as of April 1st. Students who qualify by this date will receive the appropriate honors designation. However, academic honors will be recalculated after final grades are submitted and may be subject to change.
