Cedar Crest College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Currently, the Cedar Crest Campus is engaged in preparing the Self-Study Report for a MSCHE accreditation visit in fall of 2022. Cedar Crest has identified three institutional priorities for this Self-Study. They are:

• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
• Resources for College Innovation
• Academic Excellence as a Comprehensive College with Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in the Liberal and Practitioner Arts.

Cedar Crest must provide evidence of compliance with the MSCHE standards and demonstrate that our work aligns with the College’s Mission and Goals. We will examine the MSCHE Standards through the lens of these three priorities as well.

This Self-Study enables Cedar Crest to examine all aspects of the College and recognize areas of strength, areas of growth, and areas where change is necessary to move the College through our next Strategic Planning process. Both the MSCHE Self-Study and Strategic Planning involve the Cedar Crest community. You will be called upon during these processes to participate in inspiration sessions to assist the Cabinet and Board of Trustees in planning for the College’s future.
