Health and Counseling Services
When you leave home, you don’t leave your need to maintain good health behind. Cedar Crest College offers a comprehensive health and wellness program on campus – including the acclaimed Healthy U program – to help keep you fit, energetic and ready for class.
For times when you require personal medical care, however, the College also offers Health and Counseling Services, conveniently located in Curtis Hall, one of the College’s four residential facilities.
The Center offers a comprehensive list of services that are designed to help maintain a safe, healthy campus and promote your physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well being.
Health Forms are required for all traditional students (resident and commuters) and SAGE students living on campus. All information is submitted electronically on Medicat which can be accessed through Falconlink.. You must submit health forms through the Medicat Health Portal by August 1st (fall entry) or January 1st (spring entry).
Accidents and Emergencies
On-Campus: Notify Safety and Security (Dial “0” for emergencies). Please consult with either Safety and Security or Health Services before calling an ambulance.
Off-Campus: In the case of a serious accident or emergency, seek immediate care at the nearest medical facility, call 911 or your local emergency number, but ask the person accompanying you or the medical attendant to contact the Assistant Dean of Students, (610-437-4471, ext. 3371).
Hours
Health Services is available Monday through Friday when classes are in session for the fall and spring semesters.
Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Extended hours available by request.
For after hours emergencies and on weekends, contact Campus Police: dial “0” from any campus phone.
During the evening (after 4:30 PM) or on the weekends: If you do not have any emergency but are ill and wish to speak to or see a Health Care Provider, please contact your resident advisor. An appropriate referral will be made.
