ACEND Accreditation

The Cedar Crest College undergraduate Nutrition degree program and the Dietetic Internship Program are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. ACEND is the specialized accrediting agency for education programs preparing students for careers as registered dietitian nutritionists. ACEND protects students and the public by assuring the quality and continued improvement of dietetics programs as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

he Department of Biological Sciences at Cedar Crest College is seeking qualified faculty to serve a one year appointment as a visting assistant professor. The position also involves related duties such as college committee work, biology departmental duties, student recruitment and advisement, and continuing professional development.

Accounting Major

Program Requirements

All courses within the major must be passed with a grade of C- or better; however, a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.25 and a minimum average in the major of 2.50 must be achieved.

To be certified for graduation, a student majoring in Accounting must take a minimum of 30 credits of course work in the Department of Business, Management, and Economics at Cedar Crest College.

Program Outcomes

Upon completion of the Accounting Major, students will be able to:

Accounting Minor

Program Requirements

All Cedar Crest College students are eligible to take this minor. All courses within the minor must be passed with a grade of C- or better. Business Administration majors cannot apply any accounting electives to their major if they choose this minor.
