Want to Learn More?
The accounting program at Cedar Crest College is a flexible multidisciplinary program that will prepare you to work in any business environment. You’ll learn what you need to advance in your current career or pivot to a new role in the financial industry through evening classes that you can fit into your busy schedule.
As part of your studies, we see you developing the analytical, mathematical, financial, legal, and managerial skills necessary to prepare you for a career in public, managerial, governmental, or tax accounting, as well as internal auditing.
- The accounting major at Cedar Crest can be applied toward the 150 semester-hour education requirement promoted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
- As a Cedar Crest student, you will be encouraged to explore multiple areas of interest by taking an additional major or minor or by exploring subject matter outside of the business department such as performing arts or the sciences.
Coming to Cedar Crest with some previous credits under your belt? We see how hard you worked for your previous credits, so that’s why we’ve developed a generous transfer credit policy. Our transfer counselors will help you make sure you can finish strong.
Accounting is also available as a minor.
